What happened?
This company in the Middle East was looking/sourcing for spare parts for an aircraft on several B2B websites and forums and stubled upon this Peter Tan who was very active in the forums, identifying himself as the owner of SPI Distribution Pte Ltd, based in Singapore. This man promised this Middle East based company that he can provide the parts needed.
After several email conversations and phone calls, both parties then agreed to proceed with the sale, then this Peter Tan issued an invoice as you can see below.

No Communication
After making the payment, the victim felt that something is off because this Peter Tan no longer replies to email and call. So the victim called their bank to stop the payment however, it was already too late. After alerting the bank, this Peter Tan also received a notice about the supposed reversal order.
The victim tried to call him several times again with all the numbers they found online for this scammer however, Peter Tan keeps rejecting the call.

Excuse 1 – This after filing a notice for reversal and investigation for the bank.
Excuse 2 – This after several attempts to contact, he then replied with this typical scammer email.
